HYALURON PEN

What is the hyaluron pen?

  • A pen that uses high air pressure to turn hyaluronic acid into nanoscale molecules and inserts them into the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin, enhancing lips and facial features without the use of needles.

Where can it be used?

  • Facial features including lips, cheekbones, contours, nose, jawline and reducing wrinkles.

How can you prepare for the treatment?

  • Scrub dry lips the week of treatment 

  • Eat pineapples 2-3 times 1-2 days before appointment

  • Avoid vitamin E, aspirin, naproxen sodium and ibuprofen- can cause bleeding

  • Do not drink alcohol or consume garlic 2 days prior

  • No caffeine the day of treatment

Aftercare?

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Avoid extreme temperatures for 2-3 days

  • Avoid swimming for 2-3 days

  • Keep lips moisturized

Side effects?

  • May experience swelling, bruising, bead-size lumps/bumps - will go away in about a week

  • Take Arnica to help with bruising 

  • There is almost no chance of an allergic reaction because hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the body

How often should I come back?

  • First couple sessions should be spaced every 2-4 weeks

  • Touch ups every 6-9 months

Is it the same as filler?

No. there is less swelling with a more natural look

  • If they have filler, they must wait 2-4 weeks after treatment before getting HA.

  • If they have implants in their lips, they CANNOT get this procedure
